When to go: It is better to travel to Italy in the Spring (April - May) or the Autumn (October - November). At these times of the year you will find that the temperature is pleasant (not too hot) and you will find relatively few crowds. When not to go: Travelling to Italy in August should be avoided as this is the time that the majority of Italians take their holidays and as a result many businesses and shops will be closed.
Train Travel to Italy: For those of you who are not pushed for time, train travel is a great way to enter Italy from many European countries. Bus Travel to Italy: You will find that there are a plentiful supply of buses to Italy, however unless you are on a very tight budget, train travel is far more convenient and much quicker. One of the best
ways to travel around Italy is by bus. They are generally quite fast and are
usually very reliable. Many destinations in Italy cannot be reached by train and
bus travel is the best way to go to remote places or travel local routes between
